CRIVO Ventures is a company set up by Beta - Sociedade de Capital de Risco S.A., Tecmaia - Parque de Ciência e Tecnologia da Maia S.A., and the Porto Science and Technology Park Association (APCTP), which emerged with the aim of financing, in the early stages, research projects with the potential for generating scientific and technology-based business, as well as of generating added value through the development, purchase, sale and licensing of technologies originating from the STCN [National Scientific and Technological System], namely R&D centres and universities with which contracts to that end have been established, as well as the private sector.
