ViGIE and ISICOM, companies based at TECMAIA, participated in the 17th International Machinery, Equipment and Services Fair - EMAF. The event, which took place at Exponor from November 21 to 24, is the largest Iberian technology fair in the industry in boosting business opportunities in this sector.
EMAF bets on the internationalization of national companies, presenting innovative solutions and with varied applications. Numerous technology-based companies for the industry 4.0 have been present at Exponor, enhancing the specialized technical knowledge and the advances that the sector has been registering.
According to the organization of the event, 42 689 visitors visited the fair, with the highlight being the largest ever visited by foreigners, 3 276. "Definitely, EMAF is an international reference on the route of industry fairs," says António Proença, director of the event, which this year broke the record of foreign participants, with 80 attendances. "The degree of satisfaction of the exhibitors is such that we already have expressions of interest for the next edition, in the order of 90 percent in 2020," adds the person in charge.
